2014 Chevy Tahoe LT 4X4 – Replacing Front Brake Pads & Rotors with Video – DIY

Just a quick video showing how to replace the front brake pads and Rotors on a 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe LT 4wd. The pads were worn down, and the passenger side had completely worn down to the metal backing plate so I replaced the rotors on both sides as well.
This is very similar to the brake job I posted on here for a 2007 Chevy Silverado.

You will need:
Large Screwdriver/pry bar or a large C – Clamp, or the Brake Caliper Compression Tool mentioned in the video:

19mm socket and/or wrench
18mm socket and/or wrench
T-30 Torx bit
Large Breaker Bar
Sil Glyde brake grease

And Yellow Loctite

Torque the Main Caliper bracket bolts to the spindle to 129 ft. lbs
Torque the caliper installation bolts (that go into the slide pins) to 80 ft. lbs.
