Just a quick video showing how I replaced the water filter on our Whirlpool French Door Fridge. I also show how to reset the ‘Replace Filter’ notification after replacing the filter.
The model number for our Refrigerator is Whirlpool WRX735SDBM, but I noticed that many other models and fridge brands use the same type of filter.
Please follow the manufacturer’s recommendations on how long to run the new filter before using the water for drinking. Some say 60 seconds, and some say to run it for 3-4 gallons of water before using.
It’s recommended that this filter be changed every 6 months or so.

this is a french door refrigerator.
If the filter is stuck, you can use an oil filter strap wrench to loosen it.
