HOW TO REPLACE FRONT SHOCKS 2004 CHEVY SILVERADO 1500 2WD – DIY

Just a quick video showing how to replace the front shocks on a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 2wd work truck.
Tools needed:
14mm wrench (ratching wrench works great)
Large crescent wrench or vise grips
13mm socket and wrench
Torque specs I found online say 18 ft. lbs for the two lower bolts and 15 ft lbs for the top nut.

  1. Do new washers/rubber bushings come with the new struts or is that something you also need to order when buying new shocks?
