HOW TO REPLACE FRONT SHOCKS 2004 CHEVY SILVERADO 1500 2WD – DIY
Just a quick video showing how to replace the front shocks on a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 2wd work truck.
Tools needed:
14mm wrench (ratching wrench works great)
Large crescent wrench or vise grips
13mm socket and wrench
Torque specs I found online say 18 ft. lbs for the two lower bolts and 15 ft lbs for the top nut.

Do new washers/rubber bushings come with the new struts or is that something you also need to order when buying new shocks?
The Rubber Bushings and Washers come with the shocks.
Thanks,
Dan
